ABOUT THE GENERAL HAVELOCK
Built in the Thirties. The General Havelock is a large refurbished public house with a wide range of real ales on offer.
Inside it’s roomy, light and airy and it’s fixtures and fittings dominated by a fabulous Art Deco floor. The main bar is dotted with framed prints and the pub has an open fire in winter.
The lounge at the back keeps it simple; no television, no fruit machines, no piped music. The cellar bar is sometimes open at weekends and serves ale straight from the barrel.
The General Havelock is conveniently located in the center of Ilkeston:
